Estes Park Engagement

I think we’re in love.  Well, yes, we love these two and they of course love each other, but I mean engagement adventure sessions.  Going to Colorado for Katia+Eric’s Estes Park Engagement Session was a fantastic adventure.  Many say life is an adventure, and I agree.  But what I believe makes it a journey that you want to collect and cherish memories from are the people.  The experiences.  The laughs, the sharing, the connections.  Those are the things we gather and store to treasure as valuable mementoes.  Memories to remember how wonderful the journey has been.  And there is an even greater joy when you share those same treasured moments with someone you love.

Eric and Katia were both born in California, but grew up around each other in Kansas. While the idea of falling in love wasn’t something they planned, it often isn’t.  They became best friends and somewhere on that road decided they never wanted to be apart.  Katia mentioned she heard it said that the best relationships come from the best of friendships and, as someone who married her best friend, I’d have to agree.  And what does Katia love about Eric?  “Eric is so patient with me… even when I push it.  He makes me feel loved even when I don’t make it easy.  He always knows just what I need.”  Eric comments,  “I love the postive influence Katia has on me. She’s always pushing me to be the best version of myself.”

The proposal:
While riding horseback on the Kansas prairie Eric got on one knee and proposed. With the beautiful Kansas sunset as their backdrop, surrounded by family and friends, Katia agreed to marry her best friend.
Katia and Eric, we are so happy you both found love in the amazing comfort of friendship.  You both compliment each other so perfectly.  We are super excited for you wedding and future adventures together.

These are just stunning! Looks like you guys had a fun time in CO!
