Outdoor Winter Wedding
Who says you can’t have an outdoor winter wedding in December? Ok. It’s true, winter can be cold and unpredictable. But with a little planning and some know how, you can take advantage of the beautiful outdoors even in colder months. Talk with your photographer about how to adjust your timeline to make the best use of daylight. They will also have tips on how to keep family and bridal party warm. Warm family and friends are happy family and friends! Warm wraps for the girls, cute boots and hand warmers are just a few things that can help keep smiles on everyone while taking outdoor pictures.
Show winter who’s boss
Claudia and Josh’s outdoor portrait session proves how beautiful the winter can be. Now, most flowering plants are not in bloom. However, you can look for locations with evergreens or tall grass. Fields, even when golden-brown can be beautiful. The Skyland botanical gardens in New Jersey have both. After a beautiful ceremony at noon, we headed over to this gorgeous and spacious park. What a fantastic, non-traditional place for pictures with the bride and groom’s family. I have to say, I would have every winter family formal outdoors if I could! After some fun with the bridal party and some quiet time with just our bride and groom, we made our way for last bits of light at their venue. The beautiful Views at Mt. Fuji. All just before 5pm. Take that winter!
Claudia and Josh are a super sweet, loving couple. We are so thrilled to have met them. (Thanks Instagram!) They are thoughtful and kind and have such wonderful family and friends surrounding them. Who could ask for a better start to a long-lasting and happy marriage? We wish you both all the love and happiness one could hope for. Thank you for the honor of getting to know you and being a part of such a beautiful day!
A special thanks to a wonderful team that helped make this wedding absolutely fabulous!
